Meet Claire Bennett.
A former independent retail buyer who thinks the best gift should fit the person, the moment, and a real budget.

Why I made Christmas Gifs
I spent nine years buying stationery, home goods, and seasonal gifts for small shops in Minnesota and Wisconsin. The best part was helping someone move from “I have no idea” to one gift that felt right.
I later edited a neighborhood magazine. Its holiday issue became the one friends kept on the kitchen counter. Christmas Gifs grew from that same wish: make gift search calmer, warmer, and more useful.
How I research a guide
I check current product pages, merchant policies, shipping notes, return rules, expert guides, and repeat praise or complaints from buyers. I look for gifts that get used, arrive with less fuss, and do not create more clutter.
I do not claim hands-on testing when a guide is based on research. You will see that line near the top of each guide. Prices, stock, and policies can change, so I also link to live source pages when they add real value.
A little more about me
I live in Minneapolis with my husband, two school-age kids, and an old rescue beagle named June. I like handwritten notes, practical stocking stuffers, and gifts that bring people to the same table.
